Foreclosure is extremely difficult, but you don’t have to face it alone. Helpful Hints:

If you are going to try to sell (a.k.a. – short sale) your property while in pre-foreclosure, here is a list of documents that the banks may request when you submit an offer:
• Hardship Letter- this is a detailed letter describing why you are unable to make your payments. We recommend typing your letter and making sure you sign it. Ask your Realtor for    
      their suggestions.
• Financial Statement- Some banks provide a form for you to fill out, while others may request that you type out a list. Your Realtor will have the best suggestions. 
• 2 months pay stubs
• 2 months bank statements
• 2 years tax returns
• Copy of recent mortgage statement
• Notice of Default or Auction Date

All banks are different and may request more or less information than listed above. Having all of these items ready for your realtor to present will really help them out in the long run. Banks take a long time to respond to any requests. The quicker you are able to supply the information that your realtor requests, the sooner the contract can get thru the bank.
